
Ed Loftice
Ed Loftice has been president of the board/educational director of The Advantage Retirement Group since 1997.
Ed is responsible for coordinating and conducting workshops throughout the mid-Atlantic region where he informs seniors of current information and options available to them to assist in their post-retirement planning.
Since joining The Advantage Retirement Group, Ed has assisted in the growth of the company and has conducted over 800 workshops throughout the country.
Ed attended Towson State University, where he studied Business Management and played baseball. Prior to joining The Advantage Retirement Group, Ed owned his own building business.
Ed resides in Eldersburg, Maryland with his wife, son and daughter and two dogs. In his spare time, Ed plays guitar and enjoys golfing. Ed has been involved in the community youth sports programs where he has coached both of his children's teams, and continues to support local youth and high school sports programs.
Bill Hazlett has been a member of The Advantage Retirement Group since 2002.
Bill has been working with seniors in Florida since 1988. Bill has also participated in the highly acclaimed IRA Academy. He has helped hundreds of seniors and their loved ones with his expertise.
Mr. Hazlett conducts educational workshops in Florida on the east coast as far north as Daytona and south to Palm Beach. He also does workshops in central Florida as far north to Leesburg and south to Lake Okeechobee.
Bill has focused his mission, energy, and resources towards one goal: "Providing guidance and peace of mind to seniors so that they can experience a better quality of life."
Bill resides on Florida's Treasure Coast with his wife Heather and their son Tyler. In his free time, Bill enjoys fishing and golf.
Joe Gennaro joined The Advantage Retirement Group as a senior consultant in 2004 and truly enjoys helping seniors with the many complicated issues they face in their retirement years.
He was born and raised in a suburb of New York City. He then attended Embry Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, Florida, where he graduated with a B.S. degree in Aeronautical Engineering. He then moved to Seattle Washington where he worked as a flight test engineer for the Boeing Company.
Joe has been flying airplanes for thirty two years and has been a pilot for a major airline for the past twenty one years. He currently is a Captain on the Airbus A-320. Throughout his flying career, he has flown the Boeing 767, 757, 727 and 737 aircraft.
Joe has lived in the Northern Virginia area for the past nineteen years and currently resides in Manassas Virginia with his wife and three sons.
Joe's favorite pastimes include studying Theology, playing golf and radio controlled airplanes.
Chris Shultz is one of our Regional Directors and handles an important territory for our practice. He is highly regarded by his peers and clients for his knowledge on senior-adult issues and retirement planning. He is a graduate of the University of Maryland and has completed his post-graduate Certification in Financial Planning with Boston University. He is a member of the International Association of Registered Financial Consultants and is also a member of the National Ethics Bureau. He is also a licensed financial representative for Next Generation Financial Services of First Mariner Bank where he specializes in senior-adult liquidity/ income solutions. Chris is a proud husband and father and has become not only part of our greater family but has become part of many of his clients’ families as well. Chris is an avid tennis player and golfer. He enjoys sailing, gardening and almost any outdoor activity with both family and friends. As a Regional Director for our firm he is responsible for growing our practice in the states of Pennsylvania, Delaware and New Jersey. Jeffrey Montgomery is a Regional Director of The Advantage Retirement Group serving the Eastern Shore of Maryland, Delaware, and Virginia. Specializing in IRA rollovers and tax advantageous distributions, wealth protection, advancement and distribution appropriate for retirement, long-term care and life insurance and Medicaid and nursing home spend- down rules.
Jeff is a member of the National Ethics Bureau, an organization dedicated to transparency, and comprised of members demonstrating the highest ethical standards in business and finance.
After finishing college in 1991 with a Degree in Business and Economics from Towson University, Montgomery worked for T. Rowe Price in Baltimore Maryland, specializing in the mutual fund industry. From there he went into the construction business on the Eastern Shore of Maryland and quickly worked his way up to Vice President of a well established custom home building company. His experience working with Retirees in building their retirement home along the Delmarva Coast is invaluable to him in his commitment in providing long-term financial planning to Retirees. He is familiar working with Mature Americans in executing one of the largest financial decisions they will ever make (building a retirement home) and has brought that experience with him to the retirement planning field.
Outside of work, Montgomery resides in Berlin Maryland with his wife and two children. He enjoys the outdoors and is an avid boater, golfer, and sports enthusiast.
